According to reports, the Moscow Stock Exchange has announced that it will no longer use the US dollar and the euro for foreign exchange and precious metals trading from June 13. In the equity and currency markets, as well as in the standardised derivatives markets, transactions in financial instruments denominated in dollars and euros are no longer carried out.
On the 12th, the United States announced the expansion of sanctions against Russia, the Moscow Stock Exchange and its national clearing depository company and the State Clearing Center were included in the sanctions list.
