In a shop in the first district of Yiwu International Trade City, Zhejiang Province, hundreds of colorful ropes, perfume sachets, bracelets and other products are displayed, which are colorful and festive, attracting many buyers to stop and negotiate. Operator Tang Zhen introduced, some with the “Zongbaby” element design of the colorful rope, because of the variety of colors, meaning auspicious, become this year’s Dragon Boat Festival explosion, a day can sell more than 100,000 strings. In addition, some dragon Year element bracelets are also loved by consumers, and sales are rising.

Tang Zhen said that since March has entered the sales season, approaching the Dragon Boat Festival, sales have increased exponentially.

 

It is understood that this year, dragon boat sachets, Guofeng sachets and other categories explode frequently, even if affected by materials and processes, the price is three or four times more expensive than traditional style sachets, and is welcomed by many wholesalers, individual styles and even out of stock.

With the sale of Dragon Boat Festival elements, manufacturers of related products have also entered the sprint stage of delivery.

Shops are busy taking orders and factory warehouses are busy delivering goods. In a production workshop in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, with the roar of the machine, several groups of drip molding machines are producing Dragon Boat Festival themed pendants at full load.

 

Wei Qiaofeng, general manager of a handicrafts Co., Ltd. in Yiwu, Zhejiang, introduced that the daily output has reached more than 20,000.

 

Wei Qiaofeng also introduced that in order to meet the production needs, the company will increase the production unit from the original 1 group to 4 groups, and workers will work in two shifts for 24 hours uninterrupted production. Even so, the product is still in short supply, and some customers even go directly to the factory to wait for goods.

 

In addition to strong domestic sales, overseas orders are also many. Operator Zhang Shuang said that overseas Chinese attach great importance to the Dragon Boat Festival, so they have received a lot of foreign trade orders since March, mainly from Europe and the United States.

Zhang Shuang introduced that there are more Chinese exports, so ethnic style bracelets sell very well. They are very large, with orders starting at 30,000 pieces.

 

At another factory, director Lu Lanjuan is sorting through orders for the last batch of Dragon Boat Festival sachets this year. She introduced that last year’s foreign trade orders of about 150,000, that this year they placed at least 300,000 orders, doubled.
