The Chinese Embassy in Switzerland
According to the official website of the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland, criminals recently used phones in the name of Chinese banks in Switzerland to carry out telecom fraud targeting overseas Chinese there. In order to prevent compatriots from being cheated and further enhance the awareness of “anti-fraud and anti-fraud”, the Chinese Diplomatic and Consular Missions in Switzerland remind Chinese citizens in Switzerland as follows:

Chinese banks in Switzerland have not recently (and will not in the future) contacted “clients” by phone to check personal information or deal with illegal cases, let alone contact Chinese citizens in Switzerland on behalf of their domestic branches. If you receive a similar call from a Chinese bank, please check the authenticity of the call, remain calm and alert, and do not believe false information. Do not give sensitive information such as account number and password over the phone, let alone transfer money easily.
If you are cheated, please report to the Swiss police as soon as possible, and contact relevant banks and other institutions as soon as possible to avoid economic losses. If the money is transferred through the domestic bank, it can also be reported to the local public security organ of the domestic household registration.
