GSBN and Land-Sea New Passage Operation Co., Ltd. will jointly promote paperless cargo release at inland waterless ports and seaports along the passage.

The Global Shipping Business Network (GSBN) has signed a cooperation agreement with Land-Sea New Passage Operating Co., LTD in Hong Kong, marking the latter’s official entry into GSBN.

 

Chen Sijia, CEO of GSBN, and Wang Yupei, Party Secretary and Chairman of Luhai-Hai New Channel Operation Co., LTD., attended and addressed the ceremony.

 

According to the agreement, the two sides will jointly promote the paperless release of goods at inland waterless ports and seaports along the corridor, as well as the online mutual recognition and exchange of “one-order” digital bill of lading and maritime vessels’ digital bill of lading, so as to significantly reduce the manual operation of logistics and improve the time limit of cargo transportation.

 

Through the digital bridge of GSBN, Land-Sea New Passage Operation Co., Ltd. will work with other members of GSBN to enhance the digital level in the fields of digital logistics, digital trade and digital finance.

 

“This signing is a concrete embodiment of the Party’s 20 Spirit and an important measure to promote the construction of new digital land and sea channels,” said Ms Wang.
