The Maritime Safety Administration has carried out special safety supervision work on ships entering Shanghai recently, aiming to ensure the smooth holding of the sixth China International Import Expo.
A few days ago, the Maritime Safety Administration of the People’s Republic of China issued the “Notice on the Special Safety Supervision of vessels entering Shanghai recently”, aimed at ensuring the smooth holding of the sixth China International Import Expo.
According to the notice, during the period from October 21 to November 10, 2023, vessels of Chinese nationality that plan to enter the waters between Minhang Power Plant and 101 # Light Float (hereinafter referred to as the controlled waters) shall carry out special self-inspection, conduct special information reports (report methods attached), and accept special safety inspections.
At the same time, during the period from November 1 to November 10, 2023, foreign ships that intend to enter the controlled waters for navigation, berthing and operation shall be subject to special security inspections.
