Recently, Amazon officially announced that in 2025, it will not increase the United States recommendation fee and FBA fee, and will not introduce new fee items. At the same time, Amazon will also reduce some project fees and provide additional seller benefits support to promote the continued growth of seller business.

Specifically, the changes that have been identified are mainly focused on storage placement fees. Amazon said that starting January 15, 2025, it will reduce the inbound placement service fee for large items, which will reduce the service fee by $0.58 per item when shipping using the minimum batch standard.

At the same time, Amazon also introduced an incentive, during the period of December 1, 2024 - March 31, 2025, if the seller creates a new product ASIN in line with the FBA New selection program, Amazon will waive the inventory placement service fee, but the first 100 items of each new parent ASIN will not exceed this fee.

In addition, Amazon stressed that in addition to these already clear incentive policies, in the future, it will launch more seller incentive programs to provide greater discounts on fees to further support eligible sellers. The specific discount information will be updated on the seller benefits page from January 15 next year.

It has to be said that Amazon's update is a shot in the arm for sellers, at least for sellers who use FBA, they will not have to worry about rising logistics costs next year. Accordingly, more attention can be paid to more subtle areas such as product pricing and commodity operations.
