A cargo plane has crashed!
At around 5:30 local time on the 25th, a cargo plane crashed near the airport of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. According to the headquarters reporter, the crashed cargo plane is a Boeing 737-476 (SF) aircraft, operated by Deutsche Post's logistics company DHL, flying from Leipzig, Germany to Lithuania.
Two pilots and two DHL employees were on board at the time of the accident.
Other local media reported that the crashed cargo plane hit a local two-story building and caused a fire.
The head of the local fire and rescue department said that one person has been confirmed dead and two injured are being sent to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. Vilnius Airport continued to operate as usual, with some flights cancelled or delayed.
